Notes from the President 

We had a wonderful kick-off meeting in September.  Several members brought refreshments and we welcomed one of our newest members, Anita Houser.  Other members present were Don Macey, Robyn Macey, Temeka Davis, Laura Lowe, Hiroko Hogarth, Sue Moncrief, Edith Sweatman, Judy Wells and Colette Keogh. 

Our Winter Workshop and Master Class, on January 21, with Lois Finlay will be held at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 2230 Walton Way, upstairs at the back in the choir room.  If you have students who would like to perform in the master class, please contact Colette Keogh.

The Augusta Music Teachers Association will donate a cooking themed basket which will be raffled off at the Georgia Music Teachers Conference in Columbus.  Proceeds will go to the MTNA Foundation Fund which provides grants and awards to students, composers, outstanding teachers and performers and to local associations.
